Mode Switch

The CT Board can be used in different modes. Some connectors, mainly P1 to P4, have multiple functions.
The mode can be choosen by the rotary switch P10 (between P3 and P4).

Mode 0
The CT Board is in reset mode. This means it is disconnected from the microcontroller.
In this mode the LCD touch screen on the Discovery board can be used.
Mode 1
Ports P1 to P4 are configured as GPIO.
32 output and 32 input pins are available over P1 to P4.
Mode 2
Ports P1 to P4 are configured as Memory Bus.
Additional memory or periphery can be attached to P1 to P4.
Mode 3
Ports P1 to P4 are configured as Memory Bus for observation.
The memory bus can be visualized with the help of a logic analyzer.
Mode 4
Ports P1 and P2 are configured as UART.
This mode can be used to communicate with other CT Boards or devices.
