==== 4) The NO-Keil-IDE-Route  ====
> If one is pinned to a Microsoft operating system and wants to circumvent the Keil IDE pain (e.g. using VS Code as an extended editor), one still has to provide the ST-Link driver for the Microsoft operating system. This is a necessary step in order to be able to download binaries to the CT Board and to interact with the debugger. The standalone ST-Link driver can be {{:software:start:stsw-link009.zip|downloaded here}}. (Currently tested on Windows 11 operating system.)
